About your coach

I live and work in Stellenbosch and surrounding areas. I’ve been married to Anne for 28 years, and we have two boys, Stèph & Alexander.

I am addicted to good coffee, and I love trail running, mountain biking and playing golf. I spend many late nights playing and writing music.

My own coaching journey has been shaped by diverse layers of study, teaching and practice:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University (SU)
  • A degree in Theology from SU
  • A Master’s Degree in Spirituality from SU
  • Advanced training in Theory U: A methodology for systems transformation and organisational development
  • Advanced training in Depth Facilitation, rooted in Jungian and Depth Psychology
  • PCC-level training in Integral Coaching at the UCT Graduate School of Business
  • Twenty five years of experience as a pastor
  • Eleven years of experience as a coach
  • Training in Neuro-Coaching
